Possible areas of focus might include ESL, special education, early childhood education, elementary education or secondary education.

Once you get an education degree on the undergraduate level, you may want to think about getting a master's degree in education. Although a bachelor's degree might be enough to get you certain teaching jobs, but getting a master's in education will help you stand out from the crowd as a job applicant. Additionally, if you want to teach college courses, you will likely need a master's degree to be considered for the position.
