Luxury sedans

New luxury car prices are typically higher than those of economical sedans, but these cars deliver the best driving experience for the money. Luxury cars combine elite performance, spacious interiors and every luxurious feature you can imagine. While some models may fit your budget and driving needs better than others, the following models offer the best value for their new luxury car prices.

Cadillac ATS

The base model comes standard with a four-cylinder engine, which gets up to 30 mpg on the highway. The ATS can be upgraded to a six-cylinder engine or a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which offer better performance at the sacrifice of fuel efficiency.

The Cadillac ATS has a lower starting price and more horsepower than the BMW 3-Series and a roomier and more feature-filled interior than the Audi A4. This is a model to strongly consider if you're ready to step up to a luxury vehicle.

The ATS can be packed with luxury features to bring the price up substantially. Upgrades can bring new luxury car prices for the Cadillac ATS up to $55,005. At any price point, the ATS is a commendable vehicle from the iconic American luxury brand. Learn more about the rest of the new Cadillac lineup.

Audi A4

Audi A4: New luxury car prices The latest Audi A4 has been updated and improved to compete as the top model in the entry-level luxury class. The A4 compares favorably to popular luxury models like the BMW 3-Series both in terms of price and performance.

If safety for your family is your primary concern, the Audi A4 is built like a tank. It earned top marks in government side impact tests and has standard safety features like stability and traction control and airbags from every possible angle to keep passengers safe in any type of collision.

New luxury car prices for the base A4 model start at $32,500 and include quite a few standard luxury features for the price. It remains affordable by turning in an efficient 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. An upgraded Audi A4 is also available at a higher price. Find out more about new Audi features and prices.

BMW 328i

BMW 328i: New luxury car prices The BMW 328i is a top-selling luxury sedan that includes one of the best hardtop convertible models on the market. BMW is known for its innovative technology features, and it cuts no corners on the 328i. Just like a fighter jet, the 328i has a Head-Up display that shows your speed and navigation on the windshield, so you never have to look away from the road.

The 328i is designed for both performance and economy, with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that pushes out 240 horsepower. It has excellent fuel efficiency because of the smaller four-cylinder engine. It gets up to 34 mpg on the highway, which tops the similar models from Audi and Cadillac.

New luxury car prices for the base 328i model start at $36,850. BMW, of course, has many other premium models available if the 328i does not meet your exact specifications.  See the latest prices for other popular BMW models.

Mercedes C300

Mercedes C300 interior The Mercedes C300 luxury sedan has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 248 horsepower for a very fast and very comfortable ride. The C300 can accelerate to 60 mph in six seconds, pushing your head against the rest and daring you to hold on for the ride.

This is comparable to the V6 models from BMW, Audi and Cadillac, but when compared to V4 options, the C300's V6 is less efficient while achieving only slightly better horsepower.

Hybrids also contribute to the reduction of the planet's emissions and support a green lifestyle.

Ford Fusion Hybrid

Ford Fusion Hybrid: New hybrid car pricesThe Ford Fusion is laying the blueprint for what cars of the future will look like. A roomy and elegant sedan with pretty looks and substance under the hood, the Fusion has taken the baton from the Toyota Prius as the best hybrid car on the market.

The Fusion's four-cylinder gas and electric motor produces up to 188 horsepower and gets 47 mpg, which ranks as the best mpg rating among all hybrid competitors. Parked on the street, its fine lines powerful-looking grill might have you mistaking it for a premium Mercedes or BMW.

Despite its elite hybrid status, the Ford Fusion Hybrid still has reasonable new hybrid car prices starting at only $27,200. The fully loaded, top-of-the-line Fusion Hybrid has a price of only $32,100. Continue your new car research with more Ford model prices.

Chevy Volt

Chevy Volt: New hybrid car pricesRanking among the best cars for commuters, the Chevrolet Volt represents General Motors' strong entry into the hybrid market. It is not the most affordable hybrid option, with new hybrid prices beginning at $31,645. However, this mid-size sedan has a much sleeker design than most hybrid contemporaries.

Unlike most comparable hybrids, it is a plug-in model. Most other hybrids will only run on electric until they hit a certain rate of speed and turn over to the gas engine. The Volt can run exclusively on electric at any speed.  You can simply plug in the lithium-ion battery while it's parked in your garage and then travel up to 380 miles before your next charge.

Because the Volt is a plug-in, you may never have to fill up again. But in gasoline-only mode, The Volt can get 35 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway, which is comparable to the most fuel-efficient gas-only vehicles on the road.

Tesla Model S

Trucks

Whether you need a new truck for the work site or to haul around your boat or trailer, you should carefully consider new truck prices to determine the best choice for your budget and needs. Ford, Chevy and Toyota offer the best truck values for new truck prices, but don't overlook the always-dependable GMC Sierra. New truck prices vary based on the performance packages and options upgrades you choose.

Chevy Silverado

Not only does the 1500 have the power to tow heavy loads, it has advanced performance features to keep the heavy loads under control. Built-in sway control helps prevent trailers from tipping over, and braking assistance technology keeps everything steady when descending down steep passes.

The Silverado 1500 gets 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. While these efficiency ratings are far from desirable, they are not bad when you consider just how much power the Silverado delivers. A hybrid option is available with better mpg ratings, but with a lot less power. If, on the other hand, you crave even more power, the upgraded 3500HD is a beast that can tow twice as much as the 1500. It starts at a much higher price of $31,045. Read up on other popular models from this classic American brand.

The F-150 has a base V6 engine that gets a respectable 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. If these rates aren't lighting your world on fire, you can upgrade to a V6 with EcoBoost. This technology achieves 20 percent better fuel efficiency while delivering the same power as bigger, less efficient engines.

GMC Sierra 1500

GMC Sierra: New truck prices The GMC Sierra 1500 is an everyday work truck that still holds its own when compared to some of the most popular trucks on the road. This fuel-efficient truck ranks among the top of its class for truck mpg

The base model comes with a diminutive V6 that may be a bit lacking in power, but the Sierra can be upgraded to monster V8 engines that can handle the most arduous work loads. This extra power does come at the expense of the V6's fuel efficiency.

The Sierra offers strong towing ability and a number of model packages designed to fit every budget. New truck prices for the Sierra start at a base of $22,595 and get as high as $45,485 for the Denali model. Find out more about the rest of the GMC lineup.

Chevy Suburban

Chevy Suburban: New SUV pricesIf you love riding high and in style while running errands all around town, this classic SUV is for you. New SUV prices for the Chevy Suburban start at $45,295, with the cost going up as you choose more advanced options and features.

The Suburban's main selling point, of course, is its roomy and comfortable interior. This full-size SUV ranks among the best family cars  on the market, with enough seating for nine. It has tri-zone temperature control, so if you like it cool and your kids like it warm, everybody can stay comfortable.

The Suburban isn't lacking in power, either. The 320-horsepower engine can tow up to 8,100 pounds, so you can bring all your toys with you. Unfortunately, the fuel efficiency remains dismal with only 15 in the city and 21 mpg in the city. The base V6 gets a models 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. Not great, but pretty standard for a vehicle its size. The SE and SEL models have better fuel efficiency than the base and premium models, getting 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. That's pretty good for an SUV, and a testament to Ford's ability to design new cars to cater to evolving driver preferences.

Each Ford Escape model is also packed with advanced technology features to improve performance and maximize driving comfort. The Escape includes Ford's EcoBoost to improve fuel efficiency without sacrificing power, and the MyTouch infotainment system lets you sync with your phone for hands-free calling and navigation.
