Compare this to the Silverado, which offers a base V6 engine that's good for around 195 horsepower.
Price
Price has always been the place where Ford has dusted its rivals in a tradition that goes back to old Henry Ford himself. In this respect, however, Ford has a tight competitor. The F-150 and the Silverado share an almost identical base MSRP: $23,955 and $23,590, respectively, but on the higher end, the Silverado just kills the Ford, topping out at $43,385, a good $10,000 cheaper than the similarly appointed Ford.
