When it comes to muscle cars, it's all about performance and style. Fuel economy takes a backseat to acceleration, top speed and handling. This year, the two best muscle cars available are the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the Ford Shelby GT500. Both sports cars have a menacing appearance and extremely powerful engines.

Chevy Camaro ZL1

The Camaro ZL1 is available as a coupe or a convertible. The price of the coupe is $54,350, and for an additional $5,195 cost, you can upgrade to the convertible. The ZL1 is built for performance and it has a nice leather interior in addition to Bluetooth support, automatic headlights, cruise control, OnStar and a six-speaker stereo system with a CD player and an auxiliary input jack.
