It has four engine options for car buyers to choose from: a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 140 hp, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 hp, a 1.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine with 110 hp and a 1.8-liter four-cylinder natural gas engine with 110 hp.
The base engine gets up to 28 and 36 mpg with a manual transmission and 28 and 39 mpg with an automatic transmission. The price of the 2013 Civic starts at just under $19,000.
