Launched under Toyota, the Scion brand represents a line of vehicles targeted at the younger generation. There are currently five models available. The following guide examines the different cars scheduled for release this year and the estimated Scion prices.
Scion FR-S
Sleek curves, superior steering and an efficient fuel system add to the appeal of the Scion FR-S. Launched in 2002 to positive Scion reviews, the FR-S has gone through several upgrades since then. The edition comes equipped with a 2.0-liter engine under the hood that delivers up to 200 horsepower, allowing the car to cross the 60 mph mark from standstill within 6.6 seconds. The Scion tC is an agile compact coupe that offers roomy rear seats, comfortable handling and a generous fuel economy of 23 mpg city/31 mpg highway. The five-passenger car comes in two trim levels. It is fitted with standard safety features such as antilock brakes, traction control and airbags. The Scion tC received top IIHS scores in roof strength, side impact, and frontal offset crash tests. Scion xB
If a spacious interior and generous legroom are top on your list of things you want from a compact wagon, then the Scion XB is bound to be an attractive choice. The xB comes equipped with a four-cylinder engine, which delivers up to 24 mpg. Its distinct boxy design makes it a more attractive option than similar vehicles in its class such as the Nissan Cube or the Kia Soul.

Scion iQ
Small, compact and efficient, the Scion iQ is the perfect metropolitan car. Its small size makes it very agile and easy to park. It sports an ingenious interior design that makes it large enough to comfortably seat two people in front, with two additional seats behind. Scion xD
Designed for the young market, the Scion XD has grown to become a popular choice among college students. Some of its attractive features include flexible backseats, superior stereo system and a wide range of customization features. Offered with a manual transmission, the XD gets as much as 27 mpg city/33 mpg highway ratings and produces up to 128 horsepower.
The XD is only available in one trim. However, it can be customized and upgraded with a navigation system, carbon fiber trim, LCD touchscreen and a host of other features. Scion prices for the xD are expected to start at:
