If you're in the market for a new car, you should take a look at the new Hyundai model lineup. From small compact cars to crossovers and high-performance sedans, Hyundai has something for any type of buyer. Hyundai prices have never been better, so you should start doing some research to figure out which Hyundai vehicle is right for you.

Compact cars

Hyundai prices: Hyundai ElantraHyundai offers 13 new cars this year, ranging from the compact Accent to the premium Equus. There are currently five compact cars produced by Hyundai: Accent, Elantra, Elantra Coupe, Elantra GT and Veloster. If you've shopped around for compact cars, you know Hyundai prices are competitive. The base model of the Accent has an MSRP of $14,545.

The standard Elantra costs $16,965, while the Elantra Coupe starts at $17,595. On the other hand, the Elantra GT starts at $18,545. The Veloster, a compact hatchback, has a starting price of $17,600. Hyundai's compact cars all Hyundai Sonataget great gas mileage, ranging from 27 to 28 mpg in the city and 37 to 38 mpg on the highway.

Mid-size sedans

Hyundai currently has two mid-size sedans as well as one hybrid sedan. The base trim Sonata costs just $20,995, while the Azera has a starting price of $32,250. The Sonata Hybrid has an MSRP of $25,650. Naturally, the Sonata Hybrid gets more miles per gallon than the company's other vehicles. While the standard Sonata gets around 24 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, the hybrid version gets a combined mileage of 38 mpg.

Crossover vehicles

Hyundai TusconIf you're looking for a crossover, Hyundai offers both the Tucson and Santa Fe. The Tucson is slightly more affordable, with a starting price of $20, 395. It gets 20 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway. The Santa Fe costs around $24,450 and has an estimated fuel efficiency of 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

The Veracruz is another Hyundai crossover that's worth looking into. It was produced from 2006 to 2012, and reviewers say that it's still a great deal. Even with used vehicles, Hyundai prices are hard to beat.

Performance cars
Hyundai also offers three higher-performance vehicles. The base trim Genesis starts at $34,200 and comes with a 333-horsepower 3.8-liter engine. The Genesis Coupe costs just $24,250, while the luxurious Equus has a price tag starting at $59,250. The Genesis is somewhat fuel efficient, getting 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The Equus comes with a 429-horsepower engine, which makes it not as fuel efficient as the Genesis; it gets just 15 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
